The Challenge Programme
Challenge is a 6 month self-development programme that teaches practical skills as well as utilising creative opportunities to help aid psychological resilience. It is for individuals suffering from mental health difficulties who feel they are ready to take the next step in their journey towards recovery. Supported by staff, volunteers and social work students, the programme works with each individual to help them fulfil their aspirations.
Sessions last for 2 hours and take place weekly at the Arc Centre in Reddish, Stockport.
The next Challenge programme will begin on Monday 16th January.
New participants are given as much support as they need, and we are happy to discuss anything that will help the person concerned to refer successfully.
If this is your first time at Arc it is recommended to complete a 10 week Outreach course before joining Challenge. If you are interested in joining the Challenge programme, download the referral form here [Arc_Referral_Application_Form 725KB].
Please note: the referral form is to be completed by a professional who is working alongside you.
Alternatively, we also welcome self referrals – for more information, please call our referrals team on 0161 474 1462 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
