Artist Call Out – Gallery Exhibitor
Deadline 4pm Friday 6th October 2017
We are offering an artist who shares our values the opportunity to exhibit in our Gallery in January 2018. This will provide a platform for their work, an opportunity to connect with us, to offer new perspective or skills and to inspire our audience & participants.
This may particularly appeal to emerging and established artists whose work relates to social impact, who have an interest in mental/physical health or in engaging with isolated or vulnerable audiences.
This opportunity includes:
- An exhibition in the Arc Gallery, Stockport from 27th January to 16th February 2018
- Support in marketing & promoting the exhibition
- Opportunity to sell work
- Requirement to facilitate 2 x participatory sessions
- Preview event on Saturday 27th January as part of Arc’s Saturday Art Club
- A £200 bursary to support exhibition expenses
Timescale:
Submission deadline – Friday 6th Oct 2017
Selection by – Friday 20th Oct 2017
Installation – w/c 22nd January 2018The Arc Gallery & studio is open weekdays and the last Saturday of every month if you wish to visit prior to applying. Details of our programmes can be found throughout this website and on social media (links below).
Arc is a leading arts and health organisation based in Stockport which explores the relationship between creativity, culture and wellbeing. We commission emerging and established artists to produce artistically ambitious, socially engaged arts projects.
