Arts and Health at Home #KeepingUsTogether

Hopefully the worst of the pandemic is behind us, but many people are still shielding, feeling heightened anxiety, spending more time at home out of habit or travel uncertainty, or just happier at home as the nights draw in… Whatever the reason for staying home more, we don’t think that means you can’t try new arts, crafts or hone your skills, so this is just a quick one to remind you of all our great online and virtual stuff!

Online Workshops and Courses
We run a year-round programme of workshops and training sessions open to all, including a variety of arts, professional development and socials, some of which are still virtual. See the list here.
Wellbeing Programmes Online
Some of our wellbeing programmes are still virtual and Creative Mums has a dedicated Facebook Group, so if that’s your preference and you’re living in Stockport or Oldham experiencing mental health issues, please get in touch and let us know via here.
Online Digital Courses and Pottery Kits
We sell kits such as “paint your own pottery” in our online shop – aimed at kids but we won’t be checking ID!
Want to get a bit more stuck in with a course, but take it in your own time? Our online courses are guided by professional artists but you don’t need to leave the house! Find the courses and kits
here.
Keeping Us Together
We’ve compiled a huge archive of free creative activities for all ages since March 2020, including painting, printmaking, puppet making, collage, music and more here!
Arts For Wellbeing Blog

Virtual Exhibitions
At the peaks of the pandemic we explored virtual art spaces to enable audiences to continue to visit exhibitions, see them here!

If you have any feedback, suggestions or feel like you are excluded because you want to access something but need it to be online, please let us know at info@arc-centre.org and we will consider our capacity and do our best to accommodate.
If you are interested in hearing about our new stuff and even our in-person workshops, you can sign up to hear about workshops and training we are running here
Hope to see you soon at Arc – where we can be creative and connect with each other.
