Arc is very excited to be embarking on a major community engagement project in partnership with Gallery Oldham.
‘A Love Letter to Oldham’ will engage with residents across the Borough to develop an original piece of community writing, to celebrate the launch of the new Heritage Centre in early 2020.
A series of workshops in our ‘dome’ will tour to existing arts and cultural events, beginning with the Illuminate light night on 16th February. You’ll be able to find us in Gallery Oldham, Greaves St from 6 – 9pm on the night.
The Arc team will also be working with a wide range of community groups as well as asking past and present residents of Oldham to send us their love letters via the blog.
Those hailing from in and around Oldham include Brian Cox, Nick Grimshaw, Mark Owen, Phillip Schofield, Michael Atherton, and Cannon and Ball …. we’re hoping to get as many of those people to contribute as possible!
