Hat Works Cafe

Hat Works Cafe is a relaxed space to enjoy a brew and a chat, get creative, see our exhibitions and shop for unique handmade items made by programme participants and volunteer artists.

We are developing our food offering with an emphasis on homemade meals made with care. Hat Works Cafe is supported by our wonderful volunteers who learn hospitality, barista and catering skills with us. To find out more about volunteering opportunities in the cafe click here.

We’re proud to support local suppliers such as Worker Bee Coffee, Brew Tea Co and Pure Kitchen who provide us with delicious handmade cakes, drinks and snacks. We also serve tasty homemade lunches such as soups and toasties from 12:00-15:00 on days we’re open to the public.

We keep the prices at Hat Works Cafe affordable, and all proceeds go back into supporting the charity.

We have a selection of arts activities to try any day that Cafe is open! Anyone is welcome to have a go, just help yourself to a drawer from the trolley and get creative! If you’re stuck for inspiration our friendly volunteers are happy to lend a hand! Activities include:
