Looking for Oldham Mental Health Services?

Please note that this programme is not currently accepting referrals.

If you’re searching for Oldham mental health services, then you might be looking for something that will make you feel better. Have you thought about trying arts for wellbeing?

You don’t need to have any art experience, talents or even tried any art at all in recent years. Our free, 12-week programmes led by professional artists are for Oldham and Tameside residents over the age of 18 willing to come along and find out how simple artmaking activities can make you feel better, more confident and, if you want to, more connected to your feelings, loved ones, other group members and your community.

Sessions take place weekly at Gallery Oldham. Click a link below to find out more and to make a referral for yourself or for a client.

Creative Mums

Community Programme

Creative Mums is a perinatal programme for new mums looking for Oldham mental health services who are experiencing low mood, anxiety or isolation, and includes the option of a free crèche to give mums quality ‘me time’.
The programme uses creativity and art-making to help mums to relax, build confidence, increase wellbeing, get to know each other and offer peer support.

The Community Programme uses creativity as a therapeutic tool to help participants to relax, build in confidence, improve their mental health and connect with others.

The small group sessions provide a safe, warm and supportive environment where participants can flourish through a structured programme of therapeutic art-making.
