Arc is one of the UK’s leading arts and mental health charities. From our base in the Hat Works building in Stockport town centre, Arc’s creative programmes provide life-changing opportunities for people experiencing mental health challenges and inclusive, welcoming spaces where they can develop a sense of belonging, reducing feelings of isolation and loneliness.
We are offering a freelance contract to manage Young People’s Arc, predominantly focusing on the Youth Music-funded MusicSpace programme to be delivered at Arc and in partner venues across GM. The role will develop a responsive, dynamic and inclusive programme of music delivery which supports young people’s mental health as a priority; employing music facilitators, providing opportunities for trainees and ensuring youth voice is at the heart of programme development. In addition, the role will also oversee ad hoc additional YPA projects or commissions in other artforms, mainly visual arts.
